Stamping

By Frederik Drost

Stamping is a watchmaking process used to imprint patterns and designs on the surface of a watch. This process uses a tool called a die to press a pattern into the metal of the watch. It can create a unique look and style to the watch and is often used as a way to add decorative elements to a watch. Stamping can also be used to create a logo or other identifying mark on a watch.
