Gear Train

By Frederik Drost

Gear Train: A gear train is a system of interlocking gears which transmits motion from one gear to another. It is composed of multiple gears in varying sizes and configurations that are used to increase or decrease the speed or torque of a device. It is a vital component of many mechanical systems, such as clocks and watches, and is commonly used in the automotive industry to transfer power from an engine to the wheels.
