Quartz

By Frederik Drost

Movement Quartz movement is a type of timekeeping technology that uses an electronic oscillator regulated by a quartz crystal to keep time. The quartz movement is the most common type of watch movement used today. It is extremely accurate and requires little maintenance. The quartz movement is powered by a battery, which can last for several years. Quartz movements are more affordable than mechanical movements and are generally more accurate.
