Raymond Reddington Sunglasses

Hello fellow sunglasses lovers ! If you are a fan of the TV show called The Blacklist, you know for sure that James Spader is the star of the show, portraying the infamous character Raymond Reddington. I really like his formal attire, but what really gave this caracter’s outfit an edge was his sunglasses. They rarely leave his nose and are often used as a prop for his acting gestures. So when i stumbled upon someone advertising Raymond Reddington sunglasses, i couldn’t help myself.

You find them here at Magnolia Clothing where they also sell other movie prop replicas. They are surprisingly well built for the price and looks really great! The hinges are set far from the lenses, which i like and is something you can also find on Initium Eyewear (and i am a big fan).

The “ivory” tips feels a little cheap but are very comfortable around the ears. The branches are pretty flexible so they do sit very well on my head, and my head is very big!

The lenses are brown tinted and only have a very slight refraction in them and almost no reflection. You can’t expect high end anti reflection on these kind of sunglasses, but these are quite ok. I do feel like the sunglasses Raymond Reddington is wearing have a lighter tint, revealing more behind them, but i am not sure.
